Does AI make knowledge work too easy? Easier than it should be? Does it rot my brain when I paste the latest issue in and ask for a thorough investigation, rather than taking the time to understand myself?
People are divided, perhaps I'm stumping my learning, perhaps I'm building more than I could. When I lean heavily on AI I still sweat, I feel I have worked. Perhaps it's a trick, and it's hacked my reward cycles, but I used to doom scroll a lot and the feeling with AI is different.
Pray, then, in this way: [...] Give us this day our daily bread.
I will work all the days of my life. What that looks like with AI I don't know. I will not work for my career advancement, financial improvement, or self development. I will not work for my glory, but His. Or at least I will try. And I will pray, that despite my inevitable failures, I will still be given my daily bread.
